What have you got to offer?
Salvation is free, but someone paid the price. Our Lord Jesus laid down his own life, so that you and I can be set free from the captivity of the enemy. The question is, are you ready to deny yourself some of your right so that other people can experience the liberty you have and the eternal glory that awaits you?
This story that I picked from a book titled “Jesus freaks” written by Toby Mc Keehan and Mark Hermermann might interest you. Petrus Kristian is the oldest son of Pastor Ishak Kristina, who was burnt to death on October 10, 1996, in Indonesia. At about 11:30am that day, about twenty people surrounded their church.
Raising Champions From The Home
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them. Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air; and over every living thing that move upon the earth." Gen 1v28
When God was thinking out how the earth would be, He had in mind that He would create Adam and Eve who will in turn have children and raise families that would establish His kingdom/reign on the earth. His original intention was to make everyone champions and that was why He blessed them and commanded them to have “dominion” that is to become champions
Celebrating Under-Achievement
“Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the Lord said to him: “You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed”, (Joshua 13:1 NKJV).
It is inmate in man to want to celebrate. Celebration signifies victory won, something achieved, joy in life and the feeling of fulfillment. A victory is not considered worthwhile if it is not worth celebrating. Every achievement worth it must be well labeled, a sign post for generations yet unborn. And its celebration must be consciously and thoroughly rehearsed, advertised and marked, for the benefit of the present generation
